Third time pays for all – the budget won!

The local schools budget won by 609-493, ending this season’s budget madness with a resounding victory for common sense. The folks who claimed that the last round of cuts was a “slap in the face” to the voters appear to have forgotten that they only narrowly won on 6/17, and I’m happy that the voters showed them they were wrong.

We will be caucusing at the Willington Library next week on Wednesday, 7/16 at 7 pm in the community room downstairs. Registered Democrats are encouraged to attend.
